Causeway Property Developers was founded by Paul King and Sarahjane Edwards in 2022 following four decades of property ownership and experience. Between Paul and Sarahjane their current property portfolio comprises houses, apartments, and commercial buildings at a value of around £3 million pounds (2024). Our passion is property. This passion arose from Paul’s early days – when leaving school he embarked on a formal apprenticeship in the construction industry, subsequently running his own construction company for several years before pursuing other business ventures.
Paul has built a funeral business from scratch covering Mid-Essex and now has over six sites which each year turns over more than £1 million.
Away from business Paul and Sarahjane are involved in charity work and are both involved with Rotary International. Paul served as President of South Woodham Ferrers and Danbury and Villages Rotary Clubs. Sarahjane acted as Rotary Club Health and Safety and compliance officer.
Paul is an active Freemason both in Essex and London, currently serving as Master of one of his Essex Lodges.
Paul and Sarahjane take an active interest in the City of London and are involved with The Worshipful Company of Upholders Livery, Castle Baynard Ward Club, Aldgate Ward Club, and the City Livery Club.
Their hobbies include showing classic vehicles, vintage tractors and running their six-acre smallholding with livestock in the Dengie peninsular.
